Jennifer ‘Prema’ McKeever is a somatic therapist, transformational workshop facilitator and educator who combines more than 25 years of experience in Eastern medicine, meditation, emotional release work, and body-mind therapies.  Her work is about guiding you in your journey to wholeness and clarity about who you really are.

While treating thousands of patients as a doctor of Chinese medicine, Prema saw how vital our emotional health is for our physical health.  Looking for ways to help herself and her patients release trauma stored in the body, she discovered BioDynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release. She was trained by its creator, Giten Tonkov, and considers it a sacred honor to facilitate and teach this deeply healing system of breathwork.  Additionally she has trained in multiple emotional and trauma-healing modalities, including Hakomi, Focusing, somatic approaches for healing attachment disruptions and developmental trauma. She has completed the three-year Somatic Experiencing trauma resolution training and is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute). She currently offers private sessions in Vancouver, BC and via Skype, and facilitates groups worldwide.

Prema’s own personal journey of meditation and self-discovery has led her to shamans in the jungles of Peru, Sufi gatherings in Turkey and the ashrams of India.  She continues to learn new modalities and pursue her own inquiry and ongoing training in ego psychology with the Diamond Approach. In individual sessions and groups, her focus is on releasing the trauma held in our bodies so that we can create a healthier, more authentic and passion-filled life.
